Yeah, but last year this time there were 6 phones on the form that never showed up. Don't get too excited yet.

Amen. There have also been several Nokias and Kyocera's that we have never seen. A couple of LGs have done that, too. The best policy is to drool privately, don't tell any customers anything is coming and have balloons and big party when something cool does come in. I'm planning a KRZR/SLVR party right before Christmas.

I just got my rebate pads today. I'm more impressed that the KX 9C isn't on there. Neither is the Samsung 570, it has been a good phone, but I guess the 645 is replacing it. I'm just about as happy as I can be that there are no Audiovox/UT starcom phones either. That I take as truth. What's up with the $80 rebates on phones with memory cards?

But that's contrary to what my Moto rep said the other day. Said that the V3c would be under $100 before Christmas and that the V3m would replace it in the price lineup.

well, like I said they change their mind a lot, when someone complains things will change. Like their brilliant idea to re-instate activation fees for family lines after the first.

Yup, they do that from time to time. But if sales drop (which they will if there are too many expensive phones and too much activation fees) they will do something brilliant like waive activation. I'm waiting to see if they will do any good promotions. You know we haven't had any promotions (besides phone pricing, which don't really count) since they changed the plans. If they gave away free incoming on family plans I could average 25-50 activations a week!

Choices w0w what a concept. I think that is the best solution but we all know USCC will never do the BEST solution for the customer just the BEST solution for them.

wow ouch i didnt know i offended the worker bee so much. I was mearly stating that us cellular knows that call me min have more value so they are not going to let them choose it as a free option any more. we are trying to line up with the rest of the industry. My comment was more that if we truly want to be a national carrier then our strategy does need to be above everyone else in the standards we offer. Customer service is by far the best in the industry. I appoligize if you thought i ment my comments your way. You do need to watch your tone and calm down this is a forum we are all entitled to our opinions. they are just opinions. it look's to me that uscc is going to price them selfs into a nose dive.when i got my razr v3c in dec 2005 i payed 450.00 for it that is a 100.00 over retail for the v3c.uscc is raising the price on every thing.when uscc had cheaper pla...

450 is 80 over cost, not retail, retail is the inflated price. you can certainly find them cheaper but we do pay about 370-380 for them

$450 is what almost everybody has them listed for. Now if you want to get on ebay or one of the other sites you can get them cheaper, but as we all know, you get the service and phone you pay for. The Cingy version is cheaper because it doesn't cost as much to produce a GSM phone.

as a current customer, you can keep whatever plan you have right now when you are looking to upgrade.

our new pricing is a little bit higher but its still better than the average carrier for minutes included. If you don't like it, feel free to look elsewhere, but you'll be hard pressed to find a better plan anywhere else.

i agree 100% about our phone selection though. For that argument, I truly hope they wise up soon.

As if our phone selection wasn't bad enough, they are now going to jack the price up on our few decent phones and offer a "whopping" $80 rebate just to trick people into getting Easyedge. I guess if our attach rate goes up, good for us, but way to deliver that I.C.E. (Increased Costs Everywhere) experience guys!
