Shoveling

Okay, I just got my new equipment matrix. Can USCC not smell the XXXX they are shoveling? There's no way they can sell the V3c next to the V3m at the same price. The price of the V3c has got to come down! This is ridiculous. And what makes the KRZR worth over $100 more?

What market are you in?

How's about you get me a copy of that price matrix? We don't have a new one here, yet.

I figured that they would phase out the V3C beofore they released the V3M... hope they realize that nobody is goin to buy a v3c if they can get a v3m for the same price, what is your price on the KRZR?

We were told by our AE and our moto rep that both phones were staying in the lineup, but that before Christmas the V3c would be a much cheaper phone. That is not how the new price matrix is set up at this time. I wouldn't buy the v3c if the m was sitting right next to it. I wouldn't buy the KRZR if it does exactly what an M does, for over 100 bucks less. I don't get these people.

Exactly! Its all about the newest and greatest. Capitalism at its best. They demand it, we supply it.

Besides at least its being released at the same price Verizon released it as.

That's true. I'm ordering a fakie for the Krzr, I'm not keeping one in stock. You guys don't know the rest of the story. I'm forced to sell the V3c for 149.95, when 10 minutes away they can sell it for a penny. So I'm not real happy about pricing in the first place.

I heard about the penney RAZR deal...must be hard to sell one for 149.95...it might get harder when the v3m hits the shelves...

Not if they lower the price to under a hundred, with an $80 rebate. That will sell like hotcakes.

And OKC, OKC is a transitional market with struggling activation (according to my AAE) so they offered the penny razr to help bolster activations. I'm only 10 minutes away from the line separating (580) area code from the (405) okc area code.

i feel your pain. i customers coming in here and wanting it for a penny then getting mad at me because i can't sell it for that price. and it doesn't help when people up in the city tell OUR customers they can have it for a penny. then the customers come in here expecting that.

uscc is going to keep on adding a 100.00 over retail on phone's until every one gets so pissed off that uscc starts to loose customers. ☹️

well the V3m is supposed to come about the time that the v3c is DEPLETED out of inventory. key word: depleted. so if they do sit side by side, it shouldn't be for that long.

I was told that we would be carrying both phones for a long time. That the C would be available at an extremely low price before it was all over with. I don't believe we will deplete inventory before the M comes out.

huh, that's odd. i've heard no news about carrying both for a "long" time, but if the units are at a high number, then that could be possible. i assume USCC will do what they always do with discontinued phones: sell them cheap with instant rebate, etc.
