Samsung a850
i have a motorola v710..anyone have any sugesstions on what new phone to get? i am having the typical problems with the v710..i was thinking about the samsung a850. can you send ringtones to that phone? because on my v710 i can either, send ringtones via bluetooth,e-mail, or data cable? someone let me know how or if they have any sugesstions on what phone to choose

Avoid the A850 at all costs...that phone is %100 junk.... our stores won't even carry it anymore.

i have only sent out one samsung for repair out of the 3 we have carried and it was an 850 but it had been dropped a dozen times. why is it junk? im waiting for a 355, or, if it seems substandard like the 5000 i might wait for that 2 megapixel nokia just because.

I haven't had any problems out of them, but it isn't a bluetooth phone, and no you can't send ringtones to it. I think that USCC has smartened up since the 710 and blocked ringtones from being able to be used unless they come from easy edge.

If I were replacing a 710, I would get either the new RAZR V3m, the Slvr, or wait a little and see what the new Nokia looks like. Those are the only phones coming out that compare features with the 710, unless you count the kyocera kx5, which I would never recomend to anyone who has owned something better.

oh man, i hate the remix. and i keep staring at the v3c and i dont like it. yea i hope they hurry up with the testing. i really need a new phone, this v710 can't last too much longer lol

The new Nokia does everything that your 710 does, but changing from Moto to Nokia can be frustrating. They do things so differently. Let me go check OLR and see if there's an LG coming.

No LG's. I was hoping maybe the 8100 or something like it. So those will be your choices as far as features are concerned, V3m, L7, Nokia 6265, Krzr, Kx5. That's it. Unless Kyocera or UTStarcom drop something on us that wasn't on the testing list like they did last year with the Candid.

yea i was thinking about the 6265 or if they bring out the nokia 6155 i think thats the model number..or the 6165..because i never had any problem with nokia flip phones
