I have Mp3 capability on my phone, but it isn't a razr. I can't use my mp3s as ringtones, I can't even use my own recordings as ringtones, which sux royally. I can download mp3 ringtones from easy edge, but that's the only way to get them aside from the ones that come preprogrammed on your phone. At least that I know of. I've heard that motorola phone tools can get around that, but I can't get it to.

If it is a V3c, i dont think there is enough memory on the phone to mess with putting music on it...you might could get a few songs on it at best, however, it will play music.

I've been told there's a way to reformat or compress the mp3's so that you can get a cd or two on there, but I haven't figured out how to do it. I'm guessing there's enough memory for maybe 3 songs.

i have no clue what these people are talking about. perhaps i'm misreading their replies, but yes, you can get the mp3's on your phone, i have been able to hold at least seven or eight songs. i use adobe audition to cut and edit and fade songs, pretty much make them into my own ringtones. and yes, you can use the mp3's as ringtones. but you do need the software and cable kit. i know you can get the software [illegally], or just go legit and buy it. i would suggest just buying it, you can get it not too expensive, and are able to get pictures, mp3s, contacts, etc.
