Earnings up! Compensation down?!?

I am really confused... US Cellular recently announce that their earnings are up, revenue is up, ARPU is up, and churn is down. These are all great achievements! These metrics demonstrate that USCC's plan is working - they can compete regionally against the national carriers and make some serious money doing it. Awesome!

Why then does USCC continue to cut compensation to both their direct and indirect sales channels?

Any thoughts?

sales are up because they are ofering more, the cut in compensation is justifiable if we sell more, so yes, "because they can". My sales aren't up but my comission structure really hasn't changed.

They juggled it around, but it didn't make much if any difference in the amount I've been paid. I'm still hacked off about RAZR pricing. I hope those slackers in OKC got their sales in, since that was the reason I was given for why they undercut us so much.
