US CELLULAR EMPLOYESS< HELP
Hey I work in a retail store and I had a lady come in that wants to activate 4 new lines of service, she went to Sprint and they pretty much offered to waive all 4 of her actiavation fees, and offered her 15 percent off her bill every month becuase she was a teacher. She is coming back tomm night to talk to me. She likes our plans and knows we pick up great where she lives, but she refuses to pay 4 actiavation fees. I talked to my sales manager to see if we could possible waive 2, he pretty much said his hands were tied. I called my store manager who told me to sell the benefits of our plans, but said she cant make any exceptions. Sales in the last 2 months have been slow and 4 lines from 1 cust is pretty rare (the average being 1 or 2)...

stuck in a tough spot, eh? i have had problems recently with customers coming in to active/renew, and i tell them of course about the charges, and they say, "oh well [insert local retail store here] told me i wouldn't have to pay it." i don't know what advice to offer you, except that it is in your sales manager's hands, and hopefully maybe customer service will help you out? highly unlikely, but you never know.

i have been there before. yes sprint does offer a percentage off of some companys. Its hard to compete with them...the best way is...talk about our family plans offer 2 lines included....just compare prices per month vs sprint...and well i worked for sprint b efore...and well us cell has a way better signal in most areas like at least 2 or more bars...we offer mobile to mobile and free incoming as well...which we have more to offer on our plans than they do...i wish u luck

I dont know if it works for retail locations, since Im a dealer, but I always just call PRC when I need an act. waived. Just have them tak to their manager and they'll do it every time.

okay okay so ya'll prolly have more gross adds this quarter than us. But they give us some mad sales tools. My store does not miss a sale. We'll give the store away if there are enough lines involved. Currently busting out $4k in accy. in small ol' Lynchburg. Jazzy good luck I hope she activates, and tell Craig to waive them act fees.

SOOO TRUE!!!! USCC cannot compete dollar to dollar with Sprint, even sesrvices wise, Sprint offers soo much more, you'd have to be baked or retarded to go to USCC over Sprint!!!
