I work for USCC, I just bought a Krazr and a flash card. I have a great laptop and i have tried everything to get songs downloaded to my flash card and onto the phone.

I copy the songs to the card, the card has them... I put the memory card in my phone and my phone cannot find the songs....

suggestions?

What do i have to do to get this phone performing like its supossed to?

I formatted the memory card...

I switched from phone to t-flash in storage devices...

Dont tell me these phones are not capable of doing all they are supposed to. I must be doing something wrong.

You have to open a folder somehow. I haven't had anyone with any problems yet. Motorola is notorious for making things as difficult as possible.

I guess, I'm sorry you had so much trouble. Motorola has one of the hardest interfaces to deal with (IMHO) and then they add all these cool techy things to it on top of that.

Just put the card in the phone and connect the phone to a computer running windows xp.....go to my computer, look in the removable drive (it's labeled e most of the time) then open the music folder.....drag and drop any mp3 file into this folder. Presto

You need to format the card, then put it in your phone and turn the phone on so it can make the folders that it needs. Then when you bring the card up in My Computer, make a folder and name it music, then drag and drop your music into that folder. The easiest way (IMO) to sync music to the phone is use a mini USB cable and drivers (easily found for free online), doing it this way the phone will be recognized as a portable device (after you switch the phone to USB instead of modem), then you can drag and drop your music into a music folder that you create. Both of these ways have worked for me 😁 But remember that the USCC KRZR only reads Mp3's, not WMA or AAC... hope this helps!!

Highlight one of the songs in your computer then right click on the mouse and then hit properties. It will tell you what type of file it is.
