wanting to get my nephew(hes only 11 years of age) a phone thats got a keyboard so he can instant message and email, however no phone calls(that what his mother and father said). ANY suggestions?

I am a current US CELL cust and love the service

U.S. Cellular does not offer a device to serve that purpose, not even a device with a full keyboard outside of the blackberry, which is not an alternative.

not entirely true but he doesn't need a plan get him the virgin mobile kick_flip/strobe it can call but if he really like to text it does that and they have penny texting 10 bucks for 1000
