Did you get one? I haven't sold one yet. Nokia hasn't had much luck with their higher end phones and USCC. If they would come out with a solid entry level phone or maybe one with BT or a camera they would do fine, but to leave behind our cheapskates and older folks without something familiar and reasonably priced was a mean thing to do.

If it makes it to the summer I'll be impressed. I'm thinking I'll get one as soon as I get to renew, in June, if I haven't sold the two I have in inventory.

I don't think it will stick around long with Nokia all but pulling out of CDMA.

The phone has also been around for Nokia for over a year. Just like the frickin SLVR.

Old lame phones.

I think I read somewhere on the web that production on this phone will probably cease in April 2007. I may be mistaken about that

You are probably not in an almost exclusively rural area, either. It's hard enough to explain to a farmer why Bluetooth might do wonders for him, that I wouldn't even know where to begin to explain that listening to music, interfacing with your computer and other general tecnologies. It's too much tech for most of the poeple around here. I had returns on the 6255 because it was too high tech, this one will be the same.

I don't know if it's just because I am used to motorolas or not, but I really really did not like this phone.
I got a krazr when I renewed my contract, I liked it, but then the Nokia came out and I had been lusting after this phone since I first saw a picture of it.
So I traded.
And I totally regretted it after a few days.
The reception was not as good as it was on the krazr, the big screen was nice but picture ID's were waayyyy to small for such a big screen.
The camera was nice, but not THAT nice.

Luckily I was able to change back to my krazr.
I think we've only sold 1 out of our store. Maybe 2.
I give it a few months.

That's the exact opposite of what I've found. There's a big old hospital building here in my town that is the perfect place for testing a phone's reception. I tried a KRZR and a V3m in the middle of the building and could not hold a call while walking around much. Had to go to an outer wall near a window for both to work. Their reception performance was virtually the same. With the 6265i I can make, receive and hold calls in the middle of the building while walking around the halls, the phone showing one bar of signal. The older Nokia 6255i clamshell with the external antenna beats the 6265i by showing up 3 bars and a 6235i candy...

Razrs and Krzrs are Digital only. The Nokia is trimode. So are all the phones you mentioned. That may be the difference you are seeing in the reception. I would take a Nokia over a Moto any day. I just wish they had cooler looking phones, but I'd rather have a phone that works than a cool phone.

It's a super phone. I hope we have one in stock in June when I renew. Unless there is something better, this is the phone I'm going with. I love it.

I agree...great phone...Way better than anything else we carry

Have you seen a pic from its camera? If you wanna send a razr or krzr a pic you have to cut your resolution in half. lol.

And who cares about the tiny text. I like it(it doesnt block the awesome QVGA screen)

This phone rocks. I treated myself to one for Christmas. i am happy it came out when it did because I was about to be stuck with a krzr. Don't get me wrong the krzr looks cool but who needs one when you can get this one. Also nokia's are known to last longer anyway. Phoney phone phone said:So I traded.

The camera was nice, but not THAT nice.

Well the picture id's are small. I personally don't think it takes to much thought to look at the name. I mean SON and MOM and WIFE are pretty self exclamatory. And the 2 megapixle camera isn't that nice. that i...

I think the real reason I didn't like it that much was because I've had moto since the day I got my first cell phone. (with trackfone. 😁 )
I know I can just look at the name to see who it is, but what is the fun in a picture ID then?
I did like that on the nokia you could have a video pop up when somebody called.

I think it comes down to, I like moto, my krazr is much smaller than the 6265 and I just think it's a better phone.
