What are you doing????
I have worked for Us Cellular for 3 years and this company is going to sh*t. Look at the phones we sell, 60% of them wouldn't even make it on Verizon or Cingulars line up. There all crap, all you people can say what you want about the testing we on phones before we release them, but half the phones we release still have issues.
If we are going to be able to compete with the big dogs we have to sell our phones for cheap. Our store has been dead for months and we just heard prices on handsets are going up!!! Everyone i've talked to has said there stores are becoming slower and slower, the rates plans blow, if you think they benefit the customer your wrong they benefit corporates pockets. I cant even count how man...

well lets put it this way corporate is just as bad as agent i have worked for both only differance pay is better at corp other then that uscc can suck ass all together!!! 🤣

I honestly can agree with some of the things that you both are saying. BUT I work in a cooperate store and I make bank. I have never had a job that is so easy and fun where I make more money than one of my parents that has a master's degree. Sales in my store have been going up. We have had the most new adds since our store opened a year and a half ago. While phones at uscc are more expensive than they are at verizon or cingular, our service actually works. Ive had both verizon and cingular, and in my area, both suck. While the phones are some of the coolest out there, the reception sucks! With verizon i was roaming everywhere and with cingular, my phone always said no service, emergency calls only. Uscc honestly has the best reception for m...

I work for a large agent and have no complaints about USC. We do quite well and even though we did a few less total gross phone sales than last year.. we still managed double digit growth for the 7th year in a row. I think that goes to show that USC is a great company. Why else would their common stock be the most valuable in the nation as far as wireless companies are concerned?
My problem with USC is how slow they react to the changing market and their marketing. Their marketing is ATROCIOUS and honestly embarassing. I am proud to sell the product, but when the plans and phone deals and the majority of the features are as good as or comparable as the larger competitors and we still lose out... That sucks. The power in branding is amazin...

all of you say the same thing all you can talk about is how goo the plans are . a little fyi mobile to mobile was available on pre everst plans as well. next up uscc has no morals or values when it comes to alot of ****. of course you can make bank we get paid 100% on all verts and make more on new lines and upgrades but come on working in a corp store we deal with so much more **** that we don't get paid enough to deal with and leaders that don't give a **** unless its to their benefit... 🙂

Ummm ok. Guess you missed the part about the fact that I was an agent. I don't know about other agents but I know we deal with a lot of customer service as well.
The plans are good. Regardless of mobile to mobile. NO ONE offers free incoming calls or Unlimited Nights and Weekends anywhere in the nation regardless of network. Everyone relies on "in network" for their promotions. USC has done an excellent job positioning themselves with strategic roaming agreements that benefit the customer.
Not to mention the fact that 90% of the plans are nearly identical to our competitors in dollar value and minute value. Just recently I converted a close friend from Cingular to USC. Cingular couldn't even come close to matching our price plan. Cus...

This absolutely kills me.
Let me start by saying that I agree with some of your points. Yes, phone prices need to come down a bit as we DO lose customers here and there to the lower phone prices of Cingular and other carriers. However, I'm also of the frame of mind that I'd pay a little bit extra to have a phone that I KNOW is going to work. But the bottom line is that it's not that simple.
Most would say that problems within a company start at the top. Honestly, that's not the case, at least not in this situation. US Cellular's "problems" come from the top and the bottom, the the middle...well...stuck in the middle.
You see, at the top we've got all the great policies that we all love. You know the ones. The ones where peop...

actually US Cellular's plans are great!
no other company has TRUE unlimited incoming calls - this is a huge benefit.
also the wide area plans are so nice for the occasional traveler - it's nice to have options to change to any rate plan you want without having to extend your contract every time you do so.
agent associates commission is determined by the owner of the agent, not US Cellular.

The plans are great, unless you have one of the old 1500 minute local plans with free incoming and free m2m, then the new plans aren't so great anymore. But compared nationally, we have some features that no other company offers at a price that is more than competitive.
...
I'm one of those who's holding on to the old 1500 minutes, free incoming, and free m2m. I'm paying $49.99 for the plan plus $15 to add my wife's line. I've been told by every USCC person I've talked to that I should never, ever give up my plan. They say that there will never be another deal like it.
...
Exactly. I say the same thing. Until you need three more lines, I wouldn't change a thing, then the new plans catch up on price matching, until then, it isn't worth it to change it.
...
Yeah USCC SUCKS!!! Just wait for Alltel or Verizon to buy you out and hopefully you'll get lucky and get hired on with a real phone company!!!

PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLLS
