What the heck is this? Just saw it on the new pricing matrix.... Is it a program or a phone?
...
I think this is a upgrage version of the UT Starcom 7025. One of my upper manager told me that. I could be wrong. But, we will see.
...
Okay, upgrade? As in better phone? If they wanted a better phone, why is this one cheaper? I'm so confused. I'll wait patiently for someone to email me on it.
...
wtf, when will audiovox quit.
...
They did, the phones that you are reffering to where UTStarcom, just under the Audiovox distributor. Now, UTStarcom does it under their own brand, and also sells other brands. The only thing I have against UTStarcom is that they are cheep and kids don't like them, they are a little weird in the menus and old people don't like them. But if you have a cheapskate in the store, they sell real well. I'd rather sell a $30 UTS, than a $10 Kyocera any day.
...
I have yet to determin whether this is a program or a phone as well. I saw this a few days ago when I got my price matrix and questioned it.
I Googled MTX-14 and all I got that was cellular related was a Nortel Networks CDMA compatibility article.
I have been told that it will be explained on the next promo conference call next week.
...
We never get to do the conference calls. I'll call my AAE next week.
...
You never get to do the conference calls?! How come? Thats strange...
...
We open store at 10, most of the calls are before 9, we simply aren't anywhere to get in. I'm sure one of us could do it, but it would mean getting up an hour early, and I'd just rather talk directly to our AAE or read it off the Buzz.
...
It is simply another glorified name for the e911 swap program is all.
...
Oh, good. That answers my question then. It isn't a phone, it's a program! Probably gonna give em a UTS or something.
