Replacement phones?

My phone is shot. Our contract has expired and we are moving to a city where U.S. Cellular isn't available. I don't want to spend $100 to replace my phone for 3 months of use. Does anyone want to sell their old phone or know where I can buy a decent phone cheap? I have already looked at ebay. Thanks.

U.S. Cellular is an awesome carrier. I'm pissed they don't have coverage where we are moving.(Not yet, anyway)As far as Sprint is concerned, I know several people who have Sprint here and where we are moving. They can't get reception inside of certain buildings. I laugh when they have to go outside to make calls. I don't need to go outside to make calls. Put that in your crack pipe and puff away.Don't say it's the phone either, as they both own a Fusic. All carriers have certain limitations. So, do any agents or owners have an extra phone they could misplace for a long time user of U.S. Cellular. I don' need anything spectacular, just something to get me by for 3 months. Thanks.

If you've checked on Ebay, they usually have really good prices on used phones. I don't know if any agency would be able to beat many of the prices. That said, do you have any friends that have USCC and may have old phones to get you through? Or ask an agency if they have loaner or older phones for sale. Ebay is usually so much faster and easier than all of this, btw.

I just got an old phone from a friend, but I don't know if it's e911 compatible. I will take it in tomorrow to see I can use it. If not, I will probably break down and pay the $60 for one on Ebay. It's not the price of the phone, but the s&h that is outrageous. Some people charge $20 for s&h and the phone is only $40. Thanks.
