I have a relative using USCC and she upgraded her phones at 80% in July '04. She called the local retail store where she completed the upgrades to see where she stood in the contract. They informed her that she under contract through Nov '06. She was told that she had the balance of her original committment plus an additional 2 years.

Is this correct? Does USCC complete one contract and then start a new one? At Cingular the new committment starts at upgrade so this seemed a bit strange to me.

Which phone would you recommend - the Razr or V323? I've heard a lot of negative comments about the Razr. I also want to say keep up the good work testers. I love my USCC service and wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm currently out of contract and looking for a new phone. I'm going to wait because from the sounds of things some cool phones are on the horizon.

Okay so I'm debating between the Motorola 710 and the LG 6100.

I like them both, but I think the 710 is too big. Any other opinions?

I realize how good their service is through their network as well as the roaming partners but they charge way too much for their minutes. It is like our old span america pricing, It is awesome that you get N+W and mobile to mobile outside of their area, I wish we had that so i could get my mom a us cellular phone and out of her Verizon contract. But $50 for 500 freaking minutes? and .45 each minute of overage... I thought our .40 was bad.

I currently have US Cellular and I noticed that service is not provided in Las Vegas, NV. I will be moving here in the next two weeks. What is the process if I need to cancel and how much (if any) will the termination fee be?

US Cellular reached agreement with Alltel this morning to purchase divested Kansas and Nebraska Cellular One markets from the Alltel/Western Wireless buyout.

If anyone wonders about the LG5000 and/or the Nokia6255i, all you have to do is go to Alltel to see it and try it out. They are on display and on sale there. They are past the "testing" and "tentative" stages LOL.

Is anyone else sick and tired of the word TENTATIVE ?????!!!!!!!

In the past few weeks, I've spoken to several CSR's both in the store and on the phone and I've been told conflicting stories.
I have 3 lines on my account, all with different contract expiration dates. One line expires in December, one next June and the last next August. I was told cancelled contracts within 4 months of expiration would not incur an ETF, cancelled contracts within 6 months would not incur the ETF and that cancelled contracts regardless of when it was done would always incur the ETF.
Who do I believe? Any advice would be highly appreciated...thanks in advance!

Hey for all of you that work in a call center...I was reading in the lounge and someone had a good idea. You know how you get points for being late and stuff like that? Well yall should organize a drive where if you bring in a case of water or food then you get 1 point back up to 5 points and everything is sent to NO. Please relay this on to your supervisors. I feel really strongly about this...These are AMERICANS DYING!
