I'm a Cricket user and have been for the past 4 months now. I use it everywhere in Austin and throughout Central Texas. I also have AT&T Wireless as well but have reduced my minutes to lowest plan as Cricket provides me with umlimited minutes, texting and voice mail for $35 a month. I have used Cricket from Georgetown TX to past San Antonio TX without any dropped calls and excellent coverage. I'm not too sure why some people play down Crickets coverage and service when indeed its almost equal to AT&T within the Metropolitian areas. I have no problems receiving/placing calls anywhere in the Austin metropolitan areas and some suburbs but then again if you live out on Lake Travis you will find some areas work best on AT&T. If your work/play are mainly throughout the Central Texas (Austin Metro & Suburban) areas you will really like Cricket.
