OK GUYS...GET REAL... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...
I am here because I have lurked long enough.... I have to get this off of my chest. When it comes to wireless service... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I used to have Cricket for a year... and you know what... I realized that it sucked and moved on to a REAL carrier. Don't get me wrong... Cricket is great for people who talk a LOT and don't travel outside of the city... but THAT's it. Sure $40 is incredible for unlimited anytime minutes, but what's the use if you get a lot of dropped calls or low signals? And... there are not many add on options outside of voice calls. There is NO DATA/WAP/Wireless web service. That means you CANNOT get free/paid ringers, games, wallpapers, appz etc.... from any 3rd parties. You are FORCED to buy them from Cricket if you want them. You guys CAN buy unlimited text messages for $7.99.... but honestly... WHO TEXTs THAT MUCH? Many providers provide AT LEAST 100 for $3. That is plenty. Even then... they are often times included with the data plan. On my Sprint PCS data plan... I get UNLIMITED web browsing, 100 text messages, $5 PER LINE credit towards content downloads DIRECT from Sprint. Also... did I mention that I get unlimited Picture Mail from my camera phone? I bet all of you Cricket Audiovox 8900 owners feel crappy about the pictures on your camera phone that you CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITH! Also... roaming... yes roaming. Cricket service shuts down when you hit the edge of town. I can go anywhere on the Sprint NATIONWIDE Network without roaming... and even then... if I need to roam... I have to assurance that I will be able to make my call.
In closing I would just like to say that... please don't WHINE on these forums that...

Actually, plenty of people text over 100 messages a month. I would say alot more people text on their handset than browse the web with it.
You're whining about the "whiners", what does that make you? Especially when you don't even own Cricket service. Why should you care if they whine? Go back to the Sprint forum troll...

Dude you can free ringtones FOREVER from any carrier depending on the phone..
Just go to walmart.com and pick a cd from the music selection then select one of the 30 second song snippets and right click it and select copy shortcut then e-mail it to your phone's e-mail addy.
The link will pop up as a text message and then you select whatever option you have for going to that URL and BEWM! free ringtone.
