Cellular one frequency
I am looking at getting a particular phone and wanted to know if will work on cell one service it is gsm 900/1800/1900. will this work or do i have to find another provider?
...
It should work, but quad band would definitely be prefered.

The best way to find out is just go to a CellOne retailer and ask them if they support XXX phone, and that it is a tri-band GSM phone. They will most likely say yes.
...
You MUST have the 850 band for your phone to work off of Cell One GSM. This is what they primarily use, as well as Cingular(their roaming partner).
...
That is correct you must have the 850mhz band and 1900 to work on our network. Usually there are two differnt models one that has 850/1800/1900 and one that has 900/1800/1900. You probably will want to check to see if there is two diffent models of the phone. That band will probably not work with anyone currently because all of the GSM carriers now either use or roam with the 850mhz band. Which include T mobile - CellONE and Cingular.
