V190
are there any dealers out there who carry the V190 that can give me some reliable info on it? As in, is it a good phone? Does it have the same problems that the V180 had? I'd appreciate any feedback from the CellOne folks out there. Thanks!

The V190 has seem to be a much better phone the V180. The V180 was a horrible phone with receiption issues, dropped call issues, displays going out. V190 has a much better feel and doesnt feel as cheap.. Receiption seems to be better but We have already seem some people return them because they are not as good as their nokia's where. Overall it is a nice inexpensive flip phone with a lot of nice features with decent receiption. I dont feel back selling this phone like the v180 was in the past

I just bought a new Motorola v190. I keep getting the message insert sim even though sim is inserted. If I apply a little pressure on the sim it works for a while. It seems that the little silver lock that holds the sim in place is not putting enough pressure to keep contact with the sim. It almost seems that the sim card is not thick enough. I have placed a piece of plastic on top of the sim and so for there seems to be enough pressure for the phone to work. I really hate to return the phone since I really like the phone and I have already switched my old number to it. Is this a common problem? Is there any way to adjust the lock so it will apply more pressure?

It's a MUCH better phone than the V180, but it still has it's problems. I haven't been a big fan of Motorola for the last couple years.
Nokia, Sony Ericsson, or Samsung are your best bets, IMHO.
