I just ordered my new V3i from Cell One and was very clear to the representative that I only wanted this phone if it had the iTunes software on it. I'm a bit concerned that he told me yes only to keep me as a customer and the phone does not have the software on it.
Can anyone confirm or deny if Cellular One V3i's have the iTunes player in them?

Do yourself a favor and return the V3i. Motorola puts out subpar equipment. For example, compare that v3i which is motorola's top of the line with Sony Ericsson's base model aka cheapskate w300i. I used to work for CTDI for Verizon Wireless and was also employed by Freedom Wireless. I have done my research and I like the phone I chose.
I asked if anyone knew positively that the V3i's from Cellular One came with the iTunes software or the Motorola MP3 player.
Thanks for your opinion though.

Since I'm qualified to answer this question as I work in Tier-2 Data Support, the answer that you want is 'no'. Cellular One does not have any underlying support for any iTunes. So yes, the dealer screwed you over. We don't plan to have any type of support for iTunes, but we do have Napster Mobile. And that one only supports the W300i at the moment. We are currently testing the KRZR.

..to boot, is that our V3i's only come with the default media player that Motorola installs in its unlocked phones.
