This evening, I have had absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever, ever experienced from any company whatsoever out of Tracfone. If, after reading this you choose to activate with this company, well, I would just wonder why.
A week ago I activated a Motorola W376g. After four days, the phone failed. It wouldn’t turn on at all. On Saturday, I called Tracfone, went through the normal routine of checking the phone out. The support rep. told me a new phone would arrive in 3-5 days.
Today, Wednesday October 14, the new phone arrived. I called TF to have my old number ported over. Over the next 20 minutes the rep asked for my SIM card numbers, the phone number to be ported, all the usual stuff.

shouldn't you have just put your old sim into the new phone anyway? if you're replacing a device it shouldn't be a port.

Andrew....Tracfone SIMs cannot be switched from one phone to another, unlike every other SIM in the known universe. And once a Tracfone SIM is activated with a number, it's almost impossible to change that number.

Where was the call center located? I bet if we can find where the center was located, we could go find that rep and beat the hell out of them to get your $7.38 back. Just a thought. If he is from another country it's worth the money flying overseas and going off on them. Holy crap! Do you know karate? If you know it, I could totally distract them while you karate chop that fool. If you don't want to that's cool too I guess. Just a thought. Maybe I could learn karate from you. Man, we could become a crime fighting duo that beats up the call center wrongdoers. We could be called "THE CALLING" and make costumes. What do you think? Do we have a new crime-fighting team? Maybe down the line we could get a dog and he could have a mask ...
