Who cares? It's gonna be destroyed by the hideous UI anyway, just like the Razr Maxx. My advice is wait for the Alltel version to come out then get it. That's what I've been doing with all my phones....

I wouldn't worry about it to much, go read the reviews for the cdma/pcs version that is already out on sprint. It didn't exactly sound like it is a stellar performer.

don't expect the verizon version to be any better.

All I need it to do is the basic phone functions. I just broke my flip phone and I am never getting another. I want a non-flip and verizon doesn't offer anything currently except for the Q, which i don't want or need and alletl has a nokia model, but I checked it out this weekend and it seemed really cheap. So, I am just waiting for a new one to come out from either company. I don't even care if it is the SLVR I just want a non-flip.

if you ar worried about breaking it I am not sure how much abuse a slvr could really take. i would jump on ebay and get a nokia 6236 If I was you. It will be a hell of a lot cheaper and those were pretty good phones.

not a bad idea. do you know if i would lose my new every 2 and does verizon make you renew your contract if you activate a new (used) phone?

That would not affect your upgrade or ne2 date. It would just be an esn change, no contract change
