LG8000 Launch
I went to a Verizon Wireless Technology Expo last week and talked with the LG representative that was carrying the LG 8000. After taking a peek at the cool phone, I have decided I am getting that when it comes out. He says the launch seems to be end of october early November.

This sounds an awful lot like the Audiovox CDM-9900 story, which is still playing out with delay after delay after delay.
Verizon "we can hear you now", but the problem is, Can you hear us the customer? Cutting edge phones out to the customer still warm off the electronics assembly line, "that rival the freshness of bakery," would do a lot for Verizon.

What do you mean? The Audiovox 9900 will be out on September 30th, just over a week away.

I really hate to be a skeptic, but ya just had to have followed that thing (the 9900) for the last 10 months on these forums to understand me. Now with regard to the LG-8000 the verbiage is identical. So I must see it to believe it. Remember the Audiovox CDM-9900 was suppose to be released back in March 2004.

Remember... All of the "supposed to be released" information about various new phones came from pure speculation on these boards. Until Verizon makes a specific announcement about a product, there is no valid information to complain about.

You are correct, but remember a lot of that forum dis-information came from people working supposedly inside Verizon.
