Nokia reprogram question for Verizon
I'm a noob - sorry if this has already been covered. I've been waiting with my NE2 money for two months for Verizon to come out with a candybar phone. They haven't released anything worth buying in that form. Is there a way to buy a Nokia 6275 from Canada, and reprogram/unlock it, in order to make it compatible with Verizon's network? I see that it uses the same frequencies as Verizon phones. Plus, Verizon hasn't been very helpful with what will be released in the near future 😈 . My old Nokia 6015 just made a short voyage in the ocean and now it's screen won't light up. Thanks.

There's no way to reprogram a phone to be activated on Verizon's network. It needs to be a Verizon phone.
I just did a quick search on eBay, but I didn't see anything there either. The only suggestion I would have would be to look at the LG enV. It's the candy bar style, but it has the flip-open keyboard.

Actually, there is a way that it can be done but it requires Verizon's cooperation and that won't happen.
