I'm looking for a very good phone with good reception and overall solid quality. Not sure which way to go. Have been reading reviews for these phones. Any suggestions? Also looking for phone with good SAR ratings. Does anyone know the SAR ratings on these phones?

some think the 8300 is girly; aside from that, it's a solid phone. why spend 350 when few peeps ever need a 3 megapixel camera anyway?

My wife has one, but now she wants the pink chocolate since I brought home a dummy phone for her to see. I told her there isn't a difference in the phones other then the Choc has worse battery life. 'But it's pink!' was the response I heard. Oh well...

The 8300 is probably the best all around phone for VZW. Low price tag, good battery, good signal (if you don't live in BFE and still need analog), and all the features of phones three times it's price.

You would think that manufacturer's would have caught on to the pink thing by now at started to at least offer pink OEM faceplates.

Not true. I had a guy, about 45 or so, come into my store and purchase a pink phone for his wife for Valentine's Day. That's what she wanted.

Regardless, they're selling well enough that you'd think the manufacturers would hop on the fad and make pink OEM face plates.
