I read somewhere that there was a way to use VoIP with a wifi enabled treo. Has anyone had any experience in actually doing this. I would love to be able to do this at home, because I get NO reception at my house.

If anybody has every done this...drop some knowledge on a brotha!

😎 That would be sweet.... if it worked would you just wifi up to your home network? I have never used anything wifi so I don't have a clear understanding of exactly how this would work.

The theory is there. You're using tcp/ip over a wifi network, bypassing VZW entirely. All you would need is somebody to provide the neccessary app to take advantage of it. I'm behind a firewall or I would google it, but I bet if you did a search for it you would probably come up with something.
