New Every Two vs. Discounted Pricing Upgrade question

dbuttry

Mar 4, 2007, 9:07 AM
My account says that I am eligible for New Every Two discount on 3/12/07 and eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing on 3/24/07.
Can someone please tell me what the difference is? Is one better than the other? I am wanting to upgrade to a vx6700/6800. I think the 6800 is suppose to be released this month. Will they discount the 6700s to get rid of them? If so, should I go for that or pay for the 6800?

Thanks in advance!

new every 2 gives you 100.00 off 2 year contract price on phones. the other upgrade time only gives you 2 year pricing. so if you are going to sign up for another 2 year contract, then the ne2 is the way to go.

100.00 off promo price for 2 year contract. not off full retail like some places have tried to do.

399.99 2 yr promo price - 100 NE2 = 299.99 and then you would take your 299.99 and subtract any online/MIR's avail for that phone as well, which is 50 right now.

So bottom line for a990 is 399.99 - 100 - 50 = 249.99 2 yr renewal price. got it?
