Best solution for voice/email needs...
I'm a flight attendant and I also have a small business on the side. My business clients contact me through email about 5 times a day. Nothing too heavy. Right now I access my email through a web client which is problematic because my access to a PC is extremely limited due to my travel schedule. I need to respond to my clients emails asap throughout the day. What's the best solution to my situation? I talk less than 400 peak mins a month. Is the $79.99 voice/unlimited data plan using a 8703 BB the way to go?

are you willing to switch? Sprint offers unlimited data for $15 for PDAs and $40 for BlackBerry (includes tethering pack)
I don't know if you are a loyal VZW person but look at some Sprint PDAs like the Q or Treo 700p.

What kind of advice is that 😕 She is in the verizon forum asking about verizon's services/products, why would you mention Sprint 😕

That, and you'd really wanna investigate Sprint, or any other company, before switching. Though Verizon is FAR from perfect, they're the ones for me.

Sorry, I'm not willing to switch. I'm a former VZW employee (in the days before the Blackberry) and I'm still very loyal to VZW. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Yes and for 15 dollar a month extra, you can tether or plug your laptop into the Blackberry and use it to surf the net when stuck in layovers in a hotel.
I do it all the time. You can use the 8703e or the 7130e which has a smaller size but both are basically identical, excellent products. I also access all of my e-mail accounts through the Blackberry.

The emails I tend to write are VERY long. Is the SureType on the 7130 going to be the better option than the Qwerty on the 8703?

That is a matter of personal preference. Suretype is 95% accurate but it does slow down your ability to type sometimes. A full keyboard is, well...just like having a desktop or a laptop handy.
I would recommend going to the nearest Verizon wireless Store and sampling both of them. You can practice typing with each of them to see which one you like better. They both offer the same memory, features etc. The only difference is the size and keyboard.
