I love Palm! That's why I chose the 650 over other PDAs like an XV6600. I'm a little worried, though. Back in the day, there were a lot of Palm PDAs that weren't Treos, like the Samsung i300, i330, i500, and Kyocera 7135, in addition to all the Treos. Now, there are NONE and Palm is making more and more Windows Treos and less Palm Treos.

I always wanted a 6600. I tried the 6700 for a while. It was almost as slow as a 650. I didn't like that the 650 would only downloads 2mb at a time.

all you do to make the 650 go faster is put a 64 MB SD card in. I had one from a camera I never use and it works great. And it downloads slower than other PDAs because it only has 1xrtt and not EV-DO.

You wouldn't like the 6600. It's HUGE and I have heard it crashes more than the 700w and the phone part has sucky reception, not to mention a quiet earpiece.

Size isn't important. If it does the features that I want it to do, then it's all gravy. I put a 1GB and a 2GB card and it still did the same thing.

Here's a qucik list:

Treo 700w
Treo 750v
Cingular 8125
Cingular 8525

I've had 4 Windows based phones (T-Mobile SDA made by HTC; Verizon UT Starcom VX6700, Treo 700W, and the Silver Motorola Q which i have currently). The SDA that I had was flawless, except for being GSM, which has a way weaker signal than CDMA; but that's neither here or there. The 650 left a bad taste in my mouth for Palm phones. Maybe getting a 700p will be the difference maker for me. I know as well as you do that no phone will be perfect, but there will be one that does what I want.
