Just got our dummy phone in, I just dont get what all the hype is about, what is so special about it?

It's small.
I haven't seen the dummy phone, but the Cingular SLVR looks pretty sharp. The keys and the screen are really bright and sharp. It's a nice looking phone. I wouldn't want one, but I can see why it would sell like crazy.

not really that small. The height and width are very very close to my 9900. Of course it is thinner, but i wouldn't consider it small. Plus this thing has exposed buttons that are razr like. I have already had a lot of customer with razrs that had bad keys, I bet this one will be even worse being exposed. REad through the reviews on the sprint version, it will be the most like Verizon's and the reviews are not great

I didn't say it would be any good. I said it LOOKS really good. It will sell really well because of the way it looks and the reputation that it has. People will buy it because it's cool.

yeah your right it will probably sell well just like the razr. I just hope the phone ends up being better than what i am expecting. We will also have to see how verizon prices it

I'm sure it will be overpriced at first. I can't imagine the phone will work very well at all. Not after the way the KRZR turned out. I'm wary of the RAZR Maxx too. I wish they would ditch that line of phones and do something different. The V325 works pretty well; they should stick to that.

The 815 had a buttload of problems too. I went through 3 of those in a year before I gave up and bought something else. I know the problems I was having were mass produced too.

if they based the next 815 off the 325 platform we would be ok. Just think of a 325 with a microsd slot, mp3 player, higher reolution camera and vcast.

Yeah, that'd work well for me. They need to fix the delay in the V325, but it would be a hell of a lot better than anything in the RAZR line. I don't know what hardware they use in the RAZR that would cause so many more problems than what they use in the V325.
