Do you guy want to split up the account in to seperate names? If so you just need to go to a VZW store and to a transfer of liability and price plan change, if you jsut want to split up the phone to seperate rate plans but keep them in the same persons name just call customer service and they can do the price plan change over the phone for you

Hi thanks for the response.

We want separate accounts under each of our names with different price plans. Is that possible ? Also, what would happen to our current phones under the "new" plan. Could we both get a new phone or would we have to fulfill the contract that we signed under the family plan ? Thanks in advance ....

you can just go into the store and do the change of liability and choose the new rate plans. Your upgrade date would stay the same and each of you would be responsable for the remander of your contract.

Your wife will need to read through the T&C's of vzw service (available online at verizonwireless.com and click on the link at the bottom that says Customer Agreement), vzw will then run a crdt check on her. She'll need to select her own current calling plan and features (grandfathered features/pricing won't be able to be kept) and will need to agree to a 1 yr service agreement.

Whole process takes between 10 ...
