ADDING A SECOND LINE
My mom is going to add me to her Verizon Account and I was just wondering if they do a credit check when you are adding a new line.

for your mom to add a line to her account,there will be no credit check. but if you are getting a line in your name,then there will be a credit check. also is she making her account a family share or adding you as another line with its own plan.

Actually there are still credit checks done. A lot of it depends how long they have been a customer. After a point I believe some of it is based off of customer history. I just had a customer come in the other day that had a line and added a line about a year ago with no deposit. Now they wanted 125 deposit and had no current or past due balance on their account.
