Please say there is an easier way!

My new Treo 650 is great. But...

I would also like a G'zone Type V for more rugged activities. There's no way my 650 could withstand any harsh activity.

Since I bought my 650 outright, my upgrade date is May. So I would like to use that upgrade to get a G'zone Type-V, and then just reactivate the Treo and use the Gzone when I need a rugged phone.

What is the easiest way to switch these two phones? Would online ESN swap work? Probably not...

I wish Verizon would use the CDMA SIM cards! (what are they called, like R-UIM or something?)

An online esn swap probably wouldn't work, because you need either the unlimited data feature or a voice & data bundle plan for the treo. The easiest way would probably be to upgrade to the G'Zone with a regular voice plan, and then swap to the Treo, adding on the data as a feature. Then you could call CS to do the esn change and remove the data feature when you want to swap to the G'Zone. Call them again to swap back and replace the data feature. If you're one of the brave souls who does their data charges per kb, ignore all that and just do the esn swap online.
