I know Verizon puts limitations on indirects agents, so they can't do as many things as corporate stores. What are they specifically?
...
Cant do warranty exchanges.
and sometimes its impossible for us to match their prices, but other times we smoke em, so it evens out.
Thats about it.
...
Sometimes cant get all the phones you have at the sametime 😛
...
We are also able to barter prices. Ex. If some one wants a V3 and does not want to pay for it, I can do it for free if i had to.
...
We can't get the Strawberry Chocolate. 😛
Seriously though what the other guys said. No warrenty exchanges or Easypay payments/activations.
We can price match sometimes but if a customer wants a free Q...it ain't gonna happen.
...
We can do easy payments and take payments for them.
...
sorry, we can do easy pay, and take payments for them ðŸ¤
...
Same here. And I can also do 8300's free. The guy above said they can't. We have a spiff on them right now so new share lines are free.
...
You mean Turbo? I think he was talking about the i830 Samsung PDA, not the LG 8300.
...
I can't cancel lines or do warranties and repairs. No early or annual upgrades, but they finally let me do the NE2. I try not to price match at all because once you start doing it everyone wants it, but we keep our prices as close to the website as we can. I can activate prepay accounts, but I can't access or change them (ESN swaps, price plan changes, etc).
...
You can price match the vzw website prices?
...
hey. I can even match their level of service! LOL. I don't chase things, but then again, I make more on some items and less on others. It all equals out. I do prepay (Inpluse and EasyPay) activations. I can order FRU replacements for customers. I don't have access to the billing system, but if a customer brings in their monthly bill I am more then happy to help them understand the bill.
I also provide loaner phones for customers while the wait for their FRU to be shipped. Or if a customer is a month or so away from being able to upgrade I will loan them a phone to get them through. VZW would just give 25 percent off of retail cost.
I can do Annual upgrades (I just charge 25 bucks more then the usual price because of the much ...

Thank you, that was a great response. I feel like the corporate stores don't care much about the customer, at least not as much as the indirect agents.
I have called two indirects in my area and the corporate store.
Both the indirects were very friendly and helpful. The corp agent was basically reading from a script the whole time.
...
Did you answer the website match question? I couldn't tell 🤣
Usually I have heard stores only match other stores' prices.
Online the Samsung i730 is $99 and the corp store has it for $200. Could you sell it to me for $99?
...
Like I said, I match their price, should I also match the amount of customer service that the online site will offer?
No, I cannot match the price on everything. Sometimes though I beat their price. But why should I?
...
also, why would you want that phone anyway? LOL
I tell you this. Add the unlimited PDA plan, sign up a new line for 150.00 a month plan. Add the text plan for 20 bucks a month. Buy a cla for 30 bucks, a case for 20 bucks...then I will consider selling you the phone for 100 bucks.
LOL just kidding of course.
On obsolete models VZW will whore out that phone.
...
I won't come down on my prices to match the site, but I set the prices as close to the website as I can, there's rarely more than a $10 difference.
...
That's the agent I'm thinking of buying from.
