I have been wating to get into the wireless indusrty for a while now, and I am considering verizon wireless. I am 18, I currently am a CSR for a Industrial Distributor for GM and Delphi. I was wondering how I might go about doing this meaning if I need to apply online, or in person at the store. Also what would be the probability of me getting in?

Thanks
Jake

You should try to use the channels of Careerbuilder.com and monster.com, put your resume up on those websites and start applying to CSR jobs.

Without knowing your work experience, qualifications, and education, it is too difficult to see if you will get that job, as you have to apply, have them to review your resume and qualifications, and to see if you are in their interest. We have no way of knowing of what they need and what you have to offer so we aren’t the proper people to ask. Just apply and see what happens.

If I were you, I would get a better and more respected job than a CSR, because I feel that many of the CSR people are un-educated and un-determined to expand in that company. (Just my view.)

He's 18, you have to start somewhere. A CSR position is a great place to start out and learn the business.

I guess so, but I think it would be better to pursue some other career.

You may wish to stop by www.sprint.com/careers and consider a position as either a Host and/or a Retail Communications Specialist.

just apply online at verizonwireless.com. i'm 19 and i just started with verizon. full benefits the day you start. great pay. awesome training classes, they're ranking number 4 in the best training facilities in the states. while in training they pay for everything too. verizon is an awesome career. my brother has been with the company for over 10 years now, and now he has over 3 million in 401k and he makes 150K a year, plus bonuses for being a store manager.
