Bluetooth HELP!
I have my chocolate paired with my laptop and recognized by bitpim...now when i try to send something to the phone it says that hte provider has it blocked..and i can't send...how do i get around this? I need help from the pro's...detailed idiot proof help lol thanks

From my understanding, Verizon Wireless disables the OBEX Bluetooth profile in all their handsets so transmitting/receiving information is prohibited between devices.

to tie into something different, is there any difference between the "music essentials" kit cord and the actual data cord? I have access only to the music kits in my store; would I be able to inform customers that they could indeed use the cable as a data transfer?

While I haven't heard this verified directly through Verizon, I've yet to see a situation in which the music cord didn't work as a data cable (with the necessary software, of course). I've seen them used for picture and phonebook transfers.

well through third party software drivers, you can actually have a bluetooth broadband connection between your laptop and phone. no more cables needed.
