TEST MOTOROLA V810 ON VERIZON NETWORK
I JUST GOT A MOTOROLA V810 AND USING IT ON VERIZON THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS I CAN NOT USE GET IT NOW AND SENDING MMS OVER THE PHONE.HOW CAN I MANUEL PROGRAM THE PHONE TO MAKE IT WORK WITH GET IT NOT AND MMS? PLEASE HELP BESIDES THAT EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT ON THEVERIZON NETWORK. ASK ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS NEW CDMA PHONE CURRENT OFFERED ON US CELLULAR NETWORK. ☹️

You will not be able to use GIN and MMS since you have the USCC software. You will need the Verizon software (which does exist).

I don't know how you can obtain the VZW software. It was already on the phone I got and it you will need it to use GIN. The good news is that it appears Verizon will be carrying the v810. One VZW employee says they are getting the "call out cards" for the v810. Check out the v810 forum here.

You'd have to get the USCC codes.

Even if you do, the OS might be different on USCC phones. I'm not sure if USCC uses BREW either (Get it Now) so even if you do get a software flash, your phone may not be made to support GIN.

The trick is getting the Verizon software on the phone...good luck finding that, too.
USCC does use BREW (its called "EasyEdge"). But unless you have the Verizon software, you will not be able to use BREW or other enhanced features.
Who knows the real reason why Verizon ultimately decided not carry the v810. Its a solid phone and would have been a big seller.
