Just curious... since we've already reached the point of phones streaming TV, GPS services, etc.

What do you guys think we'll see in 1yr, 2yrs, 5yrs, 10yrs?

Next big thing that will come out (with little success) is video calling.

I'd like to see the ability to 'scan' your wireless phone to make a purchase.

Of course, if you think people complain about "mystery" Premium SMS charges, just wait until "mystery" charges for Pepsi or Twinkies start showing up!!! 🤣 🤣

you could link the phone to a credit card to avoid that problem...

I think in general you will just increases and improvements over the next few years...more megapixels, better voice clarity, better video cameras...more on board memory, etc,

I also think video calling will be coming within 2 years...we'll see how well it does though

I believe video conference calling will be the next biggest thing. What sucks is EvDO doesn't support voice and data together. That's why I believe Sprint is doing WiMAX for VoIP. I think VzW will also convert to WiMAX. If not Qualcomm needs to come up with something new for VzW.
