I just bought a LG6000 from Verizon and I have 15 days to see if I like it. So far I find it a user friendly phone and it has a good track record. But should I trade it in for a Audiovox 9900? Which is a better phone? And is LG a better brand than Audiovox? The camera part of both phones is nice but I want the best overall phone. Please help.

My opinion would be to trade it for the Audiovox 9900... Both phones do have a camera and the 9900 has the option to record video clips. I was also told that the Audiovox 9900 scored 5 out of 5 stars. Plus if you get the Audiovox 9900 before the 11th it is only $49.99 on a two year contract!!!

The LG is a fantastic phone, and Verizon's best seller right now. I don't think you will be disappointed if you decide to keep it. I did, however, just order the Audiovox for myself. As far as brand names go, Audiovox is an interesting case because it actually is just a name and not a brand of phone. Some of them are made by a company called Curitel, such as the 8600 (crap), and the 8900 (a pretty good phone). Other Audiovox phones are made by Toshiba, and are generally better rated than the Curitel ones. The 9900 is a Toshiba phone.

The lg vx6000 is no longer sold. Go to VZW.com and you'll see; I checked w/ three different zip codes.

For Vox phones 8xxx are mft by Hyundai(Curitel) and the 9xxx is mft by Toshiba

As an employee your questioning whether or not I would use a zip code in an extend network? Also, have you tried typing in an extended network zipcode on vzw.com? Obviously not because you'll get an error message stating that service is not provided in that area.

Just try to understand that just because the 6000 is sold in one market it doesnt mean that its available in all markets. The 6000 is not available in most west area markets.

Oh your a bowl of sunshine. There is no need to start getting childish. The 6000 is only available in certain markets, now that you know now that your comments were wrong do you feel the need to say childish slander? You should maybe check your resources 1st or ask probing questions before opening your mouth.

if I'm not mistakin you were the one who stated, "The lg vx6000 is no longer sold. Go to VZW.com and you'll see; I checked w/ three different zip codes."
after only trying three zipcodes? couldn't try any harder.. i've tried 15 in all different states and still come up with it.. but according to you, "The lg vx6000 is no longer sold."

Dear schnozejt

After leaving my company after 21 years of service I realized I would have to start paying for my own cell phone and service. After talking to friends I was told Verizon had the best coverage in my area, so I went to my local Verizon dealer and looked at their phone selection. I am a MAC user and wanted a Bluetooth phone. I liked the Sony Ericsson bluetooth phones but Verizon does not carry them. The only bluetooth phone they had was the Motorola V710. To make a long story short I jumped before I should have and got bit. Verizons sales people mislead me about the phone maybe out of ignorance but I doubt it. The phone is not a true bluetooth phone. All I can use is their bluetooth gadgets that Verizon offers but all other ...
