AIM, the Q, and Verizon

so i just got the Q. I have the $10 text message plan as well as the 44.99 data plan. Are AIM message xtra $$$? Can I use a third-party program so it doesnt cost money? SOmeone please just tell me the cheapest/best aim program/situation to use for verizon.

There are AIM programs like IM+ but they cost $30.

and to clarify a bit further - so it doesnt charge my verzon account at all? And all it costs is 30 one time fee?

Yeah the IM+ program to download is $30 to buy and that uses data, not texts. But I just said that if you go to that website with the Q internet browser, it does the same thing as IM+ but it's free.

According to everything that I have seen or heard about using on your phone is only text messaging, no airtime, no internet data usage. The service is available on the enV, LGVX8600, etc..

Check with customer service to be sure..

Yeah, for a standard handset. PDAs are different.
