Discounts for 2 year customer?

Hi,

I've had Verizon Wireless since June 2002. However I started with a 1-year contract. I still have it without formally extending it. I called Verizon and the rep said that I'm not eligible for the Every 2 Year discount since I haven't had a 2 year contract. Does anyone know of other discounts that I'm entitled to?

Can I extend my current plan for 2 years (300 minutes, unlimited weekends/nights at 8pm, mobile web for $40) or would I have to choose a new plan?

Thanks!

Tom

Hi,

I'm sorry that you're not entitle to the NE2, however, you are entitled to the discounts available to everyone. I have seen mailers sent to customers from our mkt dept offering free phones.

You CAN change the calling plan associated to your cell #, but you are not obligated to. The calling plan and your phone are pretty much two different entities.

Hope this helps.
