I am in the market for a cell phone... but i noticed something about conversations i have had with any kiosk or store i've gone to..

When i am talking to a Representative about the downfalls of there service, while at there store or kiosk, I automatically get a rebuttal of how another service has larger downfalls.. my rebuttal is that i was talking about there service and standing there talking with them.. Not @ the competitors..

to me a situation like this is bad sportmanship.. can't we converse on a level that does not badger the competitors.. can people take a blow without pointing the finger.. or is this what it will always come down to...

try a new strategy is all i'm asking... when asked about your service, answer with your...

They learned that type of response from politicians. When was the last time a politician running for election pointed out all his good deeds instead of trashing the opposition?

"can people take a blow without pointing the finger.. "

I'd like a blow...

but on another note, I do act like that with people in my store and I don't even bring up other companies unless they do. When they do, I bring out the brochures and just let them look. I'm an honest salesman, which may lose me a lot of sales, but at least I can say I'm on a first name basis with 60% of my customers. I, for one, AM an expert on AT&T's service, locally. I've used TDMA and GSM services through them for several years, thoughout the whole state, as part of my job. Their service is great if I'm in McDonalds in town or near the highway, but I get nothing once I go out into the boonies where my work takes me. Sure, Verizon isn't perfect here...
