LG EnV Camera Lens Cover Rattles

CardinalRule

I just got an enV and everything is perfect except one thing. The camera lens cover is kind of "loose" in the sense that it rattles when I am typing on the QWERTY keyboard or just laying the phone down etc.

Is this just cheapo-build quality that is common with all these phones, or is it just mine? (in other words should I take it back and exchange it)
I guess it's not that big of a deal, but it makes the phone sound kind of plasticky or something and opening and closing the lens cover just feels like its really poorly constructed.

Anyway, just wanted some other opinions...thanks!

Mine doesn't do that.... my lens cover either locks in the closed or open position, it doesn't rattle around...i luv my env......best purchase i've ever made!

Cool, thanks for your reply...

Actually, let me clarify my post a little bit. It's the silver bezel that is AROUND the lens cover that rattles...not the lens cover itself. Sorry, I realized I didn't make that very clear after reading this response.

Thanks!

With my enV, when i first bought it the silver bezel was tight and not loose....but now its all loose and sometimes will open with just a little touch...when it vibrates the little thing go crazy, which then you could tell its loose if you didnt know before...maybe a defect in ours?? iono but would be nice to know

Yeah it's really weird. I might go back to the store tomorrow and compare. I guess my reasoning for keeping it was that it would probably become loose over time anyway (like yours seems to have), but it kind of annoys me that it's brand new and loose right out of the box.

I was also trying to think of a way to hold it tight and prevent it from loosening...if anyone has any ideas...
