Data Plan and Text Message Plan?

EUROCARLOV

Hi! I am considering a Q, but like many users, I feel the $44.95 price tag is a bit steep. I was wondering... I currently have a text/pix/flix package, and would like to know, if you purchase a Q and get the unlimited data plan, are text, pix and flix messages included, or do you have to have a separate plan for that?

Thanks! 😁

If you use text messaging, it will use your text plan. Same with pix and video messages. They will all use your texting plan.

If you get the data plan, you can use e-mail and that will be unlimited.

Thank you! Maybe my view is a bit skewed, but it seems like that should be included in the data package. It is data, afterall. 😕

Get the PDA with the unlimited DATA, and send everything via email. You can send a txt msg to ppl via your email. [email protected] or if you're sending a pix msg, the same thing but only @vzwpix.com. Simple as that!!

I'm not sure if this is a market-specific thing or not, but here in the NE area, the activation screen gives an option for 2000 SMS included with the PDA plans at no cost. Most reps will try to sell you the additional txt/pix/flix plan, but rest assured, you get 2000 SMS with the unlimited data plan....at least in my area 🙂

Yeah, that's probably market specific. We had a custy who we had to set up on a separate txt/pix plan with his Treo. He's a dork anyways, he never used the Data side of it anyways, he was just wasting his money. One of those guys who spends $90/month on 411 Connect calling, and yells at us because his bill is $300.
