Clear Phone Reception Overall
I have trouble hearing - too much rock music in my youth.
Is there one manufacturer that seems to have clearer/cleaner sounding phones?
I have tried both the Samsung u620 and u540 and they have an ecco sound. Currently have the Motorola old 325 - not bad in quite environments - but want to up-grade to phone with storage, music capabilities.
Would the motorola slvr / lg 8700 be better to wait for?

Get the LG 8300 very loud ear piece and great speaker phone, it can't be beat!

Thanks for the suggestion - a friend has the 8300 and it loud but a bit seems muffled - maybe he had it turned too load....

I have used the Vx8300, and while it is the best sounding LG phone, it will sound a bit muffled when compared to a Motorola V325.

Like I said, I just need it clear. I don't necessarily need it super loud, which often seems to cause distortion.

Mobile 2 web
2 mb card
No antenna
Airplane mode
Vibrate
Clean sounding, with good speaker phone
Relatively new or up-coming model.

OK I agree with everything said by the posters so far. The LG 8300 is the loudest. I have a RAZR and had the 8300 for 2 weeks.
My friend has the KRZR by Motorola. IMHO, I find the sound on the RAZR and KRZR is identical and can get quite loud but it definitely has more "treble" to steal a term.
While I like LG phones for their feature set, the sound quality of the Moto earpieces have a "Brighter sound" than any LG I have heard.
You could wait for the RAZR MAXX when it comes out soon. From what I hear, the SLVR has sound issues that might not fit into what you specified you were looking for.
