Anybody got a Wii?
If so how do you like it? I have been trying to find one everywhere around town, but no luck, Im bidding on one on ebay at the moment (over priced of course).

I am currently locked into Zelda: twilight Princess... its a very in depth game,
Wii sports is a load of fun, and Wii Play is a great buy for it comes with a slew of multi-player games and an wii remote

Well, I am not completely wrapped up in Video games like some people, I dont have the time or patience to really get into a game like a PS3 offers, I want something that I can pick up and play, or have friends over and we can all just get into.

i have both, PS3 only gets used as a Bluray player, wii really is an awesome system, it gives you freedom of relaxation for playing games like zelda, but for the wii sports, if you really wanna compete against the computer you have to get up off your a$$...

You don't have to do anything. The only thing you might need to stand for is boxing. Everything else just requires a little shake of the controller.

I have a Wii. I was visiting West Virginia when my college was playing their yearly basketball game against WVU (went to Marshall, they got smoked! LOL). Anyway, there is an electronics store in a mall. I went in there and a fedex guy was dropping off a box. There were three Wii's in there. All three went as quick as they could be rung up.
I love the Wii. I miss traditional controls for games like Madden. But Zelda is cool. I like red steel. The Wii sports game are, like you said, good party games. Everyone has fun with them! Good luck on getting that Wii...

My apartment maintenance guys were fixing my water heater two days ago, and every time they walked passed my tv they would stare at my Wii. Eventually one of them asked what the hell it was, and was surprised to actually see one in person.

Well, some bastard (probably Sprint74 or RayCarroll) out bid me with 2 minutes left sold last night night for $510.
So today I found another one, with just 2 controllers and nunchucks, wii play, with shipping for $436, so its on its way and should be here sometime next week, ill let you know how it is, anybody want to grab a beer and play with my Wii? 🤣

$436? I think it's hilarious that those are selling for so much and you can walk in anywhere and buy a PS3 off the shelf.

Yeah, I thought that the PS3 was supposed to kick everybody elses ass, but they are just sitting around gathering dust, if they had came out at $400ish I think that they would have sold much better

There are two reasons they're selling so well.
1) The price.
2) They appeal to people that can't play video games. The problem is that if nongamers try to play gamers on the Wii, they lose horribly and get pissed off. So it's really not any different anyway. Anyway...they appeal to a larger market than the other two big systems.

Yup, I use to be a video game "freak" back in Elementary and Jr High, then I discovered girls, and cars and lost interest in them.
Now that im getting past that stage and getting older im returning to the video game thing, but I just dont have the time, or patience to really "get into" a game, so the Wii is perfect for me.

I wouldn't call myself a video game freak, but I've always had fun with the Playstation systems. I know the PS3 won't disappoint me.
If you don't have time to get into anything, Wii Sports and Wii Play will keep you entertained. Like I said, I can't wait for the new Metroid to come out.

I have a Wii. Once the initial "Wow," factor goes away, I'm not too impressed. The games suck for the most part, but I'm really looking forward to the new Metroid Prime. I'm going to get a PS3 next month.

Rayman: Raving Rabbids is a lot of fun and SSX Blur but it's really hard to get used to the controls. Red Steel is not bad either.
