I like verizon, I just want a better phone. I am getting the 8525 and selling my EnV. Verizon just locks me up in too many of the "fun" areas. Also, I've had every carrier except for Cingular and all my friends have cingular so maybe I will save some dough.

Ok you have stereo bluetooth, you can transfer pix through bluetooth, you can send free ringtones by sending through mms, it has a 2mp camera, evdo, micro sd slot that allows for music, pix,flix all to be transfered on and off the phone??????????? The only thing they block is ringtones through bluetooth, but you just send a pix mesage for that? Your an idiot

Despite what Verizon advertises they are an adult network. Overpriced plans and crappy phones. Adults who don't care have no idea what they're missing. EnV is ok, but closed is a lame phone, I can't always open it up, you can't send 2 mp pictures, the bluetooth refuses to cooperate on my computer.

I still kind of agree but, I also realized that none of my friends have Verizon, so I am wasting my money when the ALL have cingular. Plus, with AT&T and cingular together they appear to be doing a lot of major improvements. I'm getting a 3g phone so no prob. Thanks for looking out bro, you spend wayyy too much time on here.

Not to jump in an argument... I think he means that he can lower his plan and save the money because everything would then be mobile to mobile rather plan minutes or plan text messages... it would all be "in". Just my opinion though.

well I will say the policy with most companies is they enjoy their cusotmers to pay them on time, oh fyi. Verizon is probably one of the few that would actually take the time to call and tell you they are going to shut you off, most would just do it. Oh one more thing, if you had collections after you, i am guessing any other carry will be asking for a nice deposit. So, cancel Verizon, go pay 100-500 on a deposit, 35 activation fee, buy a new phone, sign a new contract, and after all that have fun when they shut you off for non pay without warning.

trust me, I don't suck. I am just a phone whore who wants to try cingular. my parents will continue to pay Verizon somewhere around $200/month and I will always end up back with Verizon.

the 8525 is coming to verizon also. and you would have a much larger broadband network with it with VZW.
plus you can get 100$ off probably with your NE2, 100$ instant credit if you get an unlimited data plan (which you can cancel later). you would not have to pay an activation fee.
Plus you would have 30 days to try it out with vzw risk free and return it and then go to cingular if it didnt work out. PLUS vzw gives you 5$ off your etf every month of service so if later you need to leave its cheaper, cingular doesnt do that.

I've heard the 8525 is coming to verizon, but I won't even be eligible for my first upgrade until September '08! So, in order to get discounts I must go somewhere else! 🙂
