Early upgrade?
What's the deal with VZW early upgrades? Is it different in certain areas of the country or what, because as it has been communicated to my location a customer can upgrade early at a Direct location if they're on a $59.99 plan or higher and have completed no less than twelve months of an existing two year agreement. I am in Ohio, by the way?
Where are you and how does that work in your area?

In the northeast area, a customer can upgrade if has been 1yr since the customer upgraded and the customer has to sign a new 2yr aggreement on a plan $49.99 or higher. They can either renew/upgrade at a direct location or through customer care

That's silly; also The East's pp change policy is silly too.

There would be basically be no point in signing a 1yr contract if you can get a phone at the 2 yr price every year. If I need to disco i'll just find another responsible party of move to a non vzw covered area 😉

I work in the West
On a 12 month contract, eligibility is in 10 months of phone activation. On a 24 month contract, eligibility as wells as the NE2 is in 22 months of phone activation.
There are exceptions though.

$49.99 pricing or higher, completed 12 months of 2 yr agreement, must be current(no past due balance), and can only be done through direct channels(no Radio Shack for instance). Is a 1 time offer, no cheating the system every 12 months.
