WHY Thanks
Why when I view my billing details online.. why is it showing call forward next to some of my dialed numbers when I never use call forward? 😕 and don't even know how.. Is there something I'm not understanding about this? Thanks 🙂
...
probably incoming calss from them being forwarded to your voicemail
...
but there is 157 instances found on one bill and noway in heck do I get that many voicemails...any other ideas kinda weird 😕
...
it does not mean that they left you a voicemail.. just that you did not pick up and the were forwarded to your messaging service. other than that- you got me. 😕

ooooooooooo Thanks bro I get it that makes sense!!
...
those calls show many minutes of convo tho, so wouldn't just show zero if it was just a missed call?
...
True... well it was just a guess... Your best bet is to call c/s or maybe there is a CSR on here from time to time that could help you.

Techs inform me that it is the way the system handles a call in some instances. I know, very vague, but thats what I am told everytime I ask.

pretty much what it means (at least i think so) is when the call comes in and goes to your home switch (processing center) if you are not in your immediate home area (where most of your calls happen) call has to be forwarded to another switch to find you complete the call and get the call to you. this didn't show up until new bill format came out couple months ago. also if somebody calls you and you do not pick up the call or call goes into the voice mail it will not show up on any call detail at least not on your bill but it will in vzw's internal systems.
just my 2 cents

you probably activated call forwarding by mistake. you can cancel it by dialing *73 send from your phone.

It's a known issue with the billing system. Some calls are flagged as forwarded, but aren't being billed anything extra for the calls. It's just a display issue.
Since it isn't causing any monitary problems, it's rather low on the repair list...
