Used to be if you were a customer for a while they would give you the $100 off whether your plan was $79.99 or not, not anymore it's $50 unless you have the $80 calling plan. 😡

Great service, average phones, good CS usually,
change your policy on me midstream I might be gone
just for that reason.

the ne2 was changed 2/5/06. but if you are in a contract that is 2 years old and just know coming up for renewal. you ge the 100.00 credit. and with the new ne2 if you are on a 79.99 or higher plan you still get the 100.00 ne2. or if you want to you could change to a higher plan for 3 months before your next 2 year contract is up on new ne2 and get the 100.00 credit. but the new ne2 took affect in febuary 5 2006.

Yeah, I didn't realize it had been that long either. I was thinking it was back when the Annual upgrade and new Worry Free Guarantee came out.

This is correct once you get the new phone with the credit of up to $100.00 the new contract will be for up to $50.00 if Plan is less than $79.99. This unless you changed the current contract by doing an early upgrade. Early upgrades reset the ne2 and would give you the up to...

that was changed a loooong time ago, not last month, and you are grandafathered on the old plan unless you sign up for a new plan and then you will start on new policy. FYI phone prices have dropped in general so don't complain. That $50 gives you a free razr, free 8300 half the time and a good discount off many other phones. How many carriers are giving free razr's to customers on low tier rate plans. Guessing not many.

cusotmers used to get $100 dollar NE2 credit when they upgraded after two years and signed a new two year contract. Now they will only get $50 under the new plan. YOu must sign up on a higher tier rate plan to receive the ful$100 credit. You are grandfathered in and your plan will not change to the new one until after you upgrade...so It shouldn't really hit anyone for another year.
