what happened to moto?
what happened that motorola pulled away from vzw anyway? I had intended to get one, but now not sure what to do... dont (cant) have camera need tri mode... argh!

What happened to Moto?! Nothing. They just haven't been sending phones, nor has Verizon been approving the phones that have been sent. To date, the 710 and V60p are all that we are carrying that are active. Moto. hasn't stopped sending Verizon things though...

As of the moment, I haven't heard anything with any new appearances from Moto. To come out with any tri-mode phones. If I do hear something though, I will be more then happy to let you know. At the moment, as it stands only the V60p and the 710 are out...

Might be time for gmcjimmy to suck it up and go with what's available and decent in that dept, which would be the Samsung 650, LG 3200, or Audiovox 8600(which isn't even on the VZW website anymore?).

Isn't the v265 coming out in time for the holidays...or before? That phone has already passed Verizon testing.

Yes at a Radio Shack meeting last week they said the moto 265 will be in our stores for XMAS so I would imagine in direct stores as well

sometimes certain phones are only approved for indirect channel (ie radioshack) i keep a close eye on bulletins about upcoming phones, i'm on a conference call weekly and havent heard a word about any more motorolas this year. The V60P is pointless, thats what the P stands for and the 710 is turning out to be a good phone however its also our highest priced non-pda phone
