Grass is greener customer rebuttle

where do your irate customers say they are going when your service isn't good enough? (like when you won't swap out an accessory w/o a reciept and the customer says "i am going to verizon, they dont treat me this way" (i work for sprint and verizon is literally across the hall from us.))

I'd guess Cingular, but Verizon CS is so much better than Cingular anyway.

One lady told me she was cancelling her Verizon to sign up with Radio Shack service. Our local RS sells Verizon. 🤣

I heard that Radio Shack lets you upgrade your phone even if you are in contract. Is this true?

I don't think so, but it could be a trick of the wording... I'll let you upgrade your phone in contract, but it'll cost you a lot more. On the bright side, doing this won't change your contract end dates. 😉

Lol, me too!

Thought I was the only one like that.


I also have people come in with say a Moto 325i and say they dropped it in water, no insurance, and are pissed off they have to pay $200, they say "Well, I'll cancel my contract with you and go to Samsung!"

when ever a customer says they are gunna cancel, i always say tell me how that works out for you, 4 months later i see them back at the store signing back up for service, and i just welcome them back and ask them how their experience was, most of the time they are greatful to be back

I remind them that VZW is a private company and you can't own stock unless you work for VZW and that Verizon Comm is a publicly traded company so selling there stock won't do anything for them?
